MedWorks offers stress management training programs onsite for companies that want to improve the health and wellness of their employees. There are many ways that we can structure a program that will meet your wellness objectives and stay within your budget parameters.
The following are our service offerings:
One-hour Stress Less: Learn To Meditate Class
For those with no time to de-stress, but who need it most. This one-hour introductory course explains the basics of how meditation works in plain English. Participants are taught and practice four powerful meditation techniques during the class. Every person leaves this class with the ability to reduce their stress levels using meditation anytime, anywhere that stress occurs, even if they never take another training session. They also take home a Meditation Guide to help them use the skills learned on a regular basis.
This class can also be presented as a 30 or 45 minute class.
Stress Less: Learn To Meditate – Six Week Program
This program is taught in six weekly one-hour classes. Participants are taught and practice 12 powerful meditation techniques including: breath focus, body scan relaxation, standing and walking meditation, Tai-Chi and Chi-Kung introductory practice, mantra, sound and music meditation, simple yoga as a meditation, visualization practice, mindfulness/open awareness, eyes-open meditation, energy center focus and your everyday tasks as meditation.
Participants are encouraged to discuss their experiences throughout the program. By the end of the course, they will have learned a wide range of major meditation techniques, and be able to integrate these stress-reducing practices in their daily work and life.
This program can also be packaged as a two, three, four, or five-week course – one hour per week. New participants are welcome at every session.
Ongoing Meditation Sessions
One-hour monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly meditation sessions are offered to companies that want to provide ongoing instruction to graduates of our previous meditation courses. These classes help motivate your employees to maintain and use the meditation skills they have learned. Ongoing meditation classes also provide a forum for your employees to relax and de-stress on a regular basis in the work environment. Classes are led by the instructor and can be scheduled before work, during the lunch hour, or after hours. The cost is based upon the frequency and structure of the program. Some clients choose to go directly to ongoing meditation sessions after a One-hour Stress Less: Learn to Meditate class.
MedWorks can develop any employee meditation program to meet your company’s specific needs. We are also available for half-day and full-day rates to conduct sessions at corporate retreats, training/incentive seminars, and industry conferences.
Classes are taught onsite and in-person within a 90-minute drive of Boston, or online via video conferencing.
MedWorks is available for half-day and full-day rates to conduct our popular One-hour Stress Less: Learn to Meditate seminar at your convention or meeting site. Once participants learn how, they can always take a meditation break for instant relief in the midst of a hectic meeting/convention schedule or back at work or home. The program can be taught periodically throughout the day as a breakout session.
